I’m an unapologetically Northern creative with over two decades of experience working as, and alongside, actors as a writer, director and lecturer.

 

 

I’m drawn to new writing, original stories and creatives who are willing to push boundaries of the industry, their region and, most importantly, themselves.

 

 

For me, art is audacity. It’s courage. It’s the daring to take up space and exist.

 

My Current Directing Showreel

My writing is currently focused on a trilogy of poltergeist plays. Each play stands alone as its own story, loosely connected through genre. I’m drawn to hauntings as a vehicle for exploring trauma, and the ways the past can linger, resurface and refuse to be forgotten.
